Observ is collecting your personal information in order to validate collating submitted observations against local authorities, businesses, and services. Your information is transmitted securely via HTTPS, and once stored, may only be accessed by Observ employees and authorised contractors.
Unless authorised or required by law, we will not provide your personal information to any other person or agency.

What happens if personal information is not provided?

You are not required to submit personal data to submit observations.
Without your personal information, we may not be able to use your observations to notify nearby businesses of potential incidents.

Privacy related permissions request by Observ

CAMERA
Used for permissions associated with accessing and capturing images from the phone.
This permission is only used to allow the user to supply pictures to support Dust and Odour observations.

MICROPHONE
Used for permissions associated with accessing and recording voice from the phone.
This permission is only used to allow the user to supply recordings to support Noise observations.

LOCATION
Used for permissions associated with accessing the location services from the phone.
This permission is only required to assist the user in providing the likely location at the time of observation submission.
